Join my team as a Remote Freight Broker Agent, where you'll play a vital role in connecting shippers with reliable carriers to facilitate seamless freight transportation. This energetic position offers the opportunity to develop and manage customer relationships, negotiate contracts, and coordinate logistics solutions—all from the comfort of your home. Develop and maintain strong relationships with shippers and carriers through proactive communication and excellent customer service. Negotiate rates, contracts, and terms to optimize freight solutions while ensuring profitability. Coordinate transportation planning by matching freight loads with suitable carriers using transportation management systems (TMS) and other logistics software. Manage day-to-day operations including dispatching, data entry, and tracking shipments via EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software. Generate leads through effective sales management strategies such as inside sales, B2B outreach, and lead generation techniques to expand your client base. Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and other transportation safety standards during freight handling and documentation processes. Requirements

Proven experience in supply chain management, transportation management, or logistics sales with a focus on freight brokerage/trucking industry. Strong knowledge of transportation planning, carrier negotiations, contracts, and transportation sales processes. Ability to build lasting customer relationships through inside sales tactics and B2B engagement strategies. Self-motivated, with a proven ability to work independently.
