Hospitality Interior Designer

Social Design Studio is seeking a talented Interior Designer to join our growing team and contribute to the design of thoughtful, immersive hospitality environments. Working closely with the Principal and design team, this role supports all phases of the design process—from early concept development through construction and installation.
Social Design Studio is a boutique hospitality design firm known for crafting distinctive environments that shape the guest experience. Our studio approaches every project through narrative-driven design, blending interior architecture, materiality, and graphic storytelling to create spaces that feel both refined and memorable.

Applicants must hold a professional degree in Interior Design and have a minimum oftwo years of professional experience in a design studio environment.
Requirements
Professional Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design
Minimum
2+ years professional experience
in an interior design or architecture firm
Strong working knowledge of
AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe InDesign, and Photoshop
Experience producing professional Interior Construction Document Sets and design presentations
Understanding of thefull interior design process , from concept through installation
Strong design sensibility with an eye for proportion, materiality, and composition
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment
Enthusiasm for hospitality design and guest-focused environments
Experience with Enscape or Revit is a plus.
Responsibilities
Support the design team through
all phases of the design process , from concept development through construction administration
Assist in the development of
design presentations and concept boards
that communicate the narrative and direction of each project
Source finishes, furnishings, lighting, plumbing fixtures, and accessories in alignment with project design intent
Collaborate with vendors and manufacturers to obtain pricing, samples, and product specifications
Assist in developing
3D models and photorealistic renderings
to support design presentations
Support the team during
site visits, installations, and project milestones
to ensure the design vision is executed at the highest level
Maintain organized project files, documentation, and materials libraries
