Ocean & Air Import Coordinator

Position Overview The Ocean & Air Import Coordinator will be responsible for managing end-to-end import shipments (both ocean and air) from origin through final delivery, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Handle full-cycle
Ocean and Air Import shipments
Coordinate with overseas agents, carriers, truckers, and customs brokers
Prepare and process import documentation (ISF, Arrival Notices, Delivery Orders, etc.)
Monitor shipment milestones and ensure timely delivery
Provide accurate billing, cost control, and file profitability review
Maintain strong communication with customers and internal teams
Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs regulations and company SOPs
Resolve shipment discrepancies, delays, or claims efficiently
Requirements
2+ years of experience in Ocean and/or Air Import within freight forwarding
Strong understanding of U.S. import regulations and documentation
Experience working with CFS, airlines, steamship lines, and trucking providers
Proficiency in freight forwarding software (CargoWise preferred)
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Competitive base salary (commensurate with experience)
