Position Title: E-Commerce Specialist Wage: $55,000 - $60,000/year

Position Overview The E-Commerce Specialist will support the development, maintenance, and optimization of the company's e-commerce channels, including the company website, online marketplaces, and electronic data interchange (EDI) processes. This role works cross-functionally with marketing, sales, IT, and national account teams to ensure product accuracy, smooth ordering workflows, and consistent customer experience.

E-Commerce Specialist Responsibilities

Develop and maintain processes for updating product data, images, promotions and clearance items across e-commerce channels

Manage online marketplace listings (e.g., Amazon Seller Central), ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with platform requirements

Collaborate with marketing and product management teams to maintain consistent product content across all digital platforms

Support IT and sales teams in the implementation and upkeep of EDI processes for large accounts

Coordinate with account managers to address pricing, compliance, and listing issues

Monitor online channels for customer questions, reviews, and feedback; respond or route as appropriate

Manage online inventory visibility and ensure product availability is represented accurately

Write and edit product descriptions and digital content in partnership with marketing

Serve as a communication point for order‑related inquiries across e‑commerce platforms

Assist with data entry and system updates within ERP and CRM platforms

Support additional tasks assigned by the Marketing or Sales leadership team

Requirements for E-Commerce Specialist

Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred

5+ years of experience working with e-commerce platforms in a business environment

ERP experience preferred (SAGE X3 experience a plus)

Familiarity with HTML, XML, and EDI tools

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is beneficial

Self‑motivated, proactive and able to work independently

Strong understanding of e‑commerce workflows, business processes and digital operations

Hands‑on experience with online marketplace platforms (Amazon Seller Central strongly preferred)

Knowledge of EDI processes and basic website functionality

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work cross‑functionally and manage multiple priorities
