CONSERVATION, PARK AND SUSTAINABILITY SPECIALIST
SYMMES TOWNSHIP
Symmes Township is accepting resumes for a Conservation, Parks and Sustainability Specialist.
This is a managerial position in the Township’s Administration Department. Workers in this classification are responsible for planning, managing, and may assist in the maintenance of Township Park grounds, trails, facilities, natural areas, events, athletic fields, and recycling programs. The position may require availability on weekends and as needed for emergencies, and duties are performed under the supervision of the Township Administrator.
Requirements: high school graduate with at least 3 years of experience, associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field, and a valid State Motor Vehicle Operator’s License. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Preference will be given to those with related experience in parks, horticulture, or government. The successful applicant must acquire a CDL and pesticide licenses (categories 5, 6 & 8) within one year of employment.
Salary range: $33.30 – $38.55 per hour (DOQ).
