
IT Procurement Asset Specialist

Job Description
Administers the sourcing and purchasing of IT hardware and software for Victaulic. Leads in the management of IT Asset systems and processes and tracks Global IT asset inventory. Responsible of all hardware and software through asset processing which includes administration of application, database, workflow, training and asset tagging throughout the organization. Performs all daily activities associated with IT procurement and asset management, including quotes, purchase orders, proposals, cost and price analysis, procurement and asset audits, metric reporting and other contract administration activities. Facilitates and networks with internal resources to ensure asset management and IT procurement objectives are effectively met. Engages and responsible for all duties assigned. Responsibilities and Duties
Assists in fulfilling and provisioning of IT hardware, software and associated services as requested by IT, end users and projects. System Owner of Victaulic Asset management system. Maintains systems, creates core system documentation and provides End User Training as needed. Coordinate the monitoring, purchasing and decommissioning of stock of inventory. Responsible for building and maintaining an accurate inventory of all Victaulic assets globally. Provide services directly supporting annual, periodic or cyclic inventories. Provides Asset Management Metrics to support Strategic Objectives and standardized reporting initiatives. Aids with the identification of requirements and development of requests for proposals. Coordinates correct coding of all invoices and prepares invoice reconciliation with various Victaulic processes. Maintains IT contracts and agreements with procurement group through execution of contracts, including hardware and software agreements, globally. Performs cost and price analysis, quarterly of all IT products. Monitors and controls spending to ensure effective and efficient expenditure of budgeted funds. Maintains asset inventory application and database. Is subject matter expert in all phases of asset management, including administration of application, database, workflow, training and asset tagging through organization. Monitors and maintains supply activity of all hardware and software, including ordering, stock entry, deployment and current disposition. Maintains electronic history of all quotes, purchase orders and IT inventory items. Evaluates proposals and participates in negotiations for final IT contractual agreements. Monitors supplier performance and contract measures. Assist with the coordination of procurement audits. Identifies opportunities to reduce overall cost and improve supplier performance. Tracks and reports monthly procurement expenditures and compares to approved budget numbers. Administers organization’s software licensing, including new product and maintenance renewals. Maintains all procurement workflows and documentation. Ensures compliance with organizational policies and procedures for capital and operational expenses. Coordinates PC repair services under vendor contractual obligations.
