Summary The Marketing Communications & Events Specialist is an integral member of the Lessen Marketing team, reporting to the Director of Marketing. This role is ideal for a marketing professional with 2–4 years of experience who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about creating high-impact event experiences supported by strong, multi-channel communications. The Specialist will lead the coordination and execution of Lessen’s tradeshow and event marketing programs – from pre-event promotion through on-site execution to post-event follow up – while also supporting core marketing communications including social media, email campaigns, and thought‑leadership content. The role does not have direct reports but will work closely supporting the Marketing team and cross-functional teams across the organization.
Responsibilities Event & Tradeshow Marketing (Primary Focus)
Own the marketing coordination and execution for national tradeshows, industry events, and sponsorships
Develop and manage event timelines, deliverables, and promotional plans
Partner with sales and growth teams to align event goals, target accounts, and meeting-setting strategies
Coordinate booth logistics, branded environments, collateral, swag, and vendor partners
Manage lead capture strategy and ensure proper handoff for post-event follow-up and reporting
Support on-site execution as needed, ensuring a high-quality and consistent brand presence
Social Media Management
Build, maintain, and execute social content calendars across multiple platforms.
Collaborate with design and growth teams to align messaging with brand goals.
Content Development
Draft and edit blog posts that position Lessen as a thought leader in the property services and facilities management space.
Support SEO strategy with relevant, engaging content.
Email Marketing
Create and manage email newsletters and marketing campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Segment audiences, track campaign performance, and optimize for engagement and conversions.
Other
Perform ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and events simultaneously.
Creative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Strong collaboration skills across marketing, sales, and operations teams.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
2–4 years of marketing or communications experience, preferably in B2B or SaaS industries.
Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences.
Other Relevant Qualifications Preferred But Not Required
Experience measuring event performance and reporting on pipeline impact.
Experience with Sprout Social or other similar social media calendar planning tools.
Experience with Salesforce or other similar CRM platform/systems.
Compensation $25.00 - $28.00 hourly
Pay is determined by several compensable factors, such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
