
Fundraising & Alumni Relations Manager

Our client, a higher education organization, is seeking a Fundraising & Alumni Relations Manager. The Manager will provide strategic and administrative support, and frontline fundraising programs supporting donor strategy. The Manager will serve as a key liaison between leadership giving and other teams, ensure clear communication, and coordinate execution of donor activities.
Responsibilities
Draft correspondence and communications that supports relationship building with donors, volunteers, and event attendees, including general and targeted outreach. Manage data pulls and performance tracking for solicitation and engagement efforts. Work across teams and individually to compile and analyze data to support fundraising and engagement strategies. Coordinate with relevant teams across Institutional Advancement to support processes that move donor relationships and the giving cycle, including but not limited to proposal development, annual giving appeals, stewardship reports, budgets, event logistics and attendees, and data management. Maintain effective project management trackers to ensure timelines stay on track. Assist with the preparation of presentation materials, agendas, and briefings for external meetings and events, and for internal strategy meetings. Assist with management of fundraising and alumni relations data input and review in Raiser’s Edge. Provide administrative assistance with calendars, meetings, travel, and other functions, as needed. Liaise effectively and professionally with external constituencies, including donors, volunteers, and event attendees. Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external colleagues. Undertake special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned. Requirements
3 years experience in a development or fundraising team, non-profit, marketing, or sales team. Ability to work outside of normal business hours, including evenings, weekends, or during college closures associated with peak giving periods or special events. Experience with CRM Preferred Skills
Ability to collaborate and establish relationships with diverse internal and external partners Well-developed project management skills with the ability to take initiative, keep to timelines, and to prioritize between conflicting demands Compensation
$30-35/hr Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
