About the Role The Social Media Copywriter serves as the guardian and architect of a brand's voice on social. You will have "birds eye" oversight of every caption, script, response, and campaign concept to ensure it reflects the client's tone, personality, and positioning according to established brand guidelines while continuing to push the voice forward in culturally relevant ways.

Beyond execution, you are a proactive idea generator. You bring culture‑first concepts to the table for tentpole campaigns, album releases, tour moments, cultural flashpoints, and real‑time internet trends. You thrive in reactive environments and can turn moments into meaningful engagement without compromising brand integrity.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary voice steward for a marquee music client across all social platforms

Ensure copy aligns with brand guidelines, tone frameworks, and strategic positioning

Adapt voice appropriately by platform while maintaining consistency and authenticity

Collaborate closely with creative, strategy, talent, and client teams to ensure cohesion across touchpoints

Drive Creative Ideation

Generate big social‑first ideas for campaigns, launches, and cultural moments

Concept reactive and real‑time content that feels timely and on‑brand

Contribute to brainstorms with platform‑native concepts rooted in music and culture

Partner with art directors, designers, and editors to bring ideas to life

Execute with Excellence

Write compelling captions, scripts, hooks, community responses, and campaign copy

Develop messaging frameworks and content pillars that scale

Participate in content planning and calendar development

Stay ahead of platform trends, music culture, and fan behavior

Requirements

4 to 6+ years of social copywriting experience, ideally within music, entertainment, or culture‑driven brands

Demonstrated experience owning and evolving a distinct brand voice on social

Strong understanding of platform nuances and audience behavior across major social channels

Proven ability to concept and contribute to large‑scale social campaigns

Experience working in fast‑paced, reactive environments

Excellent collaboration and presentation skills

Deep passion for music and culture

The pay range for this position is $90,000 - 100,000 per year. This position is also eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus.

Please note that compensation information is a good‑faith assessment associated with this position only and is provided pursuant to local salary transparency laws.

Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
