
Marketing Coordinator

Hybrid: 3 days a week in office/ 2 days a week remote
Our prestigious and highly regarded law firm client is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to help plan and execute marketing initiatives, ensuring projects are on brand and on time. This role plays a key part in bringing the firm’s work to life through external content, events, and client outreach initiatives. That means coordinating logistics, materials, and engagement data. This role also supports internal team operations, helping with firm programs, employee communications, and onboarding. This position is based in Chicago, Illinois and reports to the Director of Marketing.
Responsibilities
Serve as a central hub for marketing operations, providing high-level support for both external and internal initiatives External and Internal Events and Programs
Coordinate firmwide event calendars, ensuring alignment across practices, internal departments, and individual firm leaders Assist with internal and external events, including creating project checklists, coordinating logistics and timelines, and managing onsite experiences Manage logistics for trade show and conference exhibitions Create event content, including slide decks and other materials Assist with program development for internal firm initiatives focused on culture, wellbeing, continuing education, community service, and more Lead employee survey initiatives, ensuring leadership has a strong pulse on employee feedback and temperature Data and Technology
Collaborate with colleagues on content tracking as well as analyzing data in website, social media, and e-marketing systems Create monthly data reports, providing user insights that drive content strategy Assist with data management and optimization in firmwide CRM system Marketing Operations
Coordinate marketing onboarding process for all new hires, including business professionals and attorneys at all levels Manage logistics for all firm photo shoots Oversee the firm’s branded items, including developing ideas for new merch campaigns, managing onsite inventory, and coordinating client and employee gifts Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or similar field Experience in a professional services or B2B setting preferred Knowledge of the legal industry or another professional services sector preferred Demonstrated project management skills Strong organizational skills and ability to balance different project types Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with attorneys and staff Tech & Software Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint Familiarity with content management systems, email marketing platforms, and contact and experience databases preferred Familiarity with Google Analytics and data reporting preferred Physical Requirements #J-18808-Ljbffr
