Executive Director of Product Management, Enterprise Platforms - Mobility

S&P Global has recently announced the intent to separate our Mobility Segment into a standalone public company.

For more information, visit www.spglobal.com/mobility.

S&P Global Mobility is seeking a visionary Executive Director of Product to lead the development of our next‑generation enterprise platform. This is not a traditional product management role; it is a platform strategy role. You will be the architect of the unified ecosystem that houses the entire suite of applications for our Marketing and Sales division. You will define how our internal product teams build, integrate, and deliver value, while simultaneously defining how our external clients—OEMs, Enterprise Dealer Groups, and Industry Partners—consume that value. As the owner of our new enterprise platform, you will transform a portfolio of tools into a cohesive, seamless user experience, setting the technical and design standards that will govern the future of our product suite.

Key Responsibilities

Product Vision & Strategy

Define the long‑term product roadmap and "North Star" vision for our enterprise solution suite, transforming it into the single point of entry for S&P Global Mobility’s Marketing & Sales clients.

Conduct deep market research to understand the workflow needs of major OEMs and Enterprise Dealer Groups, ensuring Data Studio solves complex enterprise integration challenges.

Evangelize the platform vision to executive leadership, internal stakeholders, and key strategic customers.

Platform Governance & Integration Standards

Establish the "Rules of the Road": Create and enforce the application standards, UI/UX guidelines, and architectural frameworks that all internal product and engineering teams utilize to integrate into Data Studio.

Drive a "Platform‑First" mindset, moving from siloed application development to a modular, component‑based architecture.

Oversee the development of shared services (identity management, navigation, notification centers, API gateways) that create a unified feel across all hosted applications.

Go‑to‑Market & Commercialization

Lead the comprehensive Go‑to‑Market (GTM) strategy for the launch of Data Studio.

Collaborate with Product Marketing and Sales leadership to define packaging, pricing strategies, and migration plans for existing clients moving to the new platform.

Manage beta programs with key Industry Partners and OEMs to validate the platform before general availability.

Leadership & Execution

Lead, mentor, and scale a high‑performing product management team dedicated to the core platform infrastructure.

Partner closely with Engineering leadership to ensure the platform is scalable, secure, and performant.

Collaborate with other product leaders who are building new capabilities and applications to live inside of the enterprise platform.

Prioritize the backlog rigorously, balancing the need for new platform features against the integration needs of the vertical application teams.

Who You Are

10+ years of senior product management experience, including leadership of a large, complex product portfolio.

Experience building, scaling, and managing product management teams in rapidly evolving environments.

Strong knowledge of SaaS platforms, agile development methodologies, and delivery of B2B and B2C software products for web and mobile.

Proven ability to manage end‑to‑end product lifecycles, including roadmap development, user experience, product delivery, strategy, and launch execution.

Experience developing and improving processes, metrics, documentation, and resource planning frameworks.

Skilled in communication, negotiation, and presenting to senior stakeholders.

Experience driving product improvements, innovation initiatives, and quality enhancements.

Ability to understand complex technical products and analyze diverse data sources to support decision‑making.

Experience managing distributed teams, budgets, and operational processes.

Demonstrated capability in team leadership, performance management, and fostering effective cross‑functional collaboration.
