Varney Benefits Advisors is hiring a Benefit Account Manager to manage client relationships and employee benefit programs. ? This role involves preparing proposals, reviewing contracts, resolving claims, conducting presentations, and ensuring compliance with regulations like ACA, COBRA, and HIPAA.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary client contact for benefits management. ?
Prepare proposals, review contracts, and resolve claims.
Conduct open enrollment meetings and benefit presentations. ?
Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations. ?
Build relationships with carriers, vendors, and stakeholders. ?
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and benefits administration experience preferred
Active Maine Life and Health License and valid Maine Driver’s License. ?
Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills. ?
Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of employee benefits coverage. ?
Working Conditions
Ability to sit, stand, and work on a computer for extended periods. ?
Travel to client sites, including occasional overnight stays. ?
