Nonprofit Resources Position Description: Account Manager Account Managers provide leadership to the staff serving a client. They are the liaison between Nonprofit Resources leadership and the client leadership. This position is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of the client's or project's scope of work. Compensation varies by experience, education, and skills.

Duties may include, but are not limited to: Board Management:

Support the mission and programs

Maintain healthy Board and Committee communication

Execute the strategic plan as directed

Perform fiduciary function, including executing contracts

Maintain Board minutes

Provide secure and confidential maintenance of all information and assets

Membership:

Manage association activities related to membership

Plan, supervise, and/or execute member services

Manage promotion and retention programs

Evaluate results and recommend actions to achieve goals

Manage member communication, including newsletters, general mailings, ballots, and surveys

Leadership:

Coordinate with supporting departments, including Finance, Web, Graphics, IT, and HR

Lead meetings as required

Serve as liaison for day-to-day client-staff matters. Oversee the scope of work and resources needed to achieve goals

Communication:

Production of publications, journals, newsletters, brochures, and directories

Ensure healthy communication with members

Programming:

Execute the client’s programs, maintaining budget objectives

Finance:

Monitor the annual budget. Ensure timely and accurate financial reports, bill payments, and revenue processing

Facilitate payment of Nonprofit Resources management invoices

Required skills:

Ability to travel to work-related events

Initiative to learn about the industry and relevant concerns

Consistent and dependable work ethic to meet and exceed deadlines

Ability to work independently and prioritize team time

Project management skills, including planning, delegating, task facilitation, and quality assurance

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage varied tasks in priority order and switch between clients and tasks

Strong technical skills to work in a virtual environment

Microsoft 365 and online systems, including SharePoint and Teams

Preferred skills:

Finance experience, including budget analysis and financial report interpretation

Public speaking experience

Online experience working in:

Association Management Software (AMS) platforms

Online event platforms

Webinar or online meeting production

Required qualifications and experience:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Previous management and/or Project Management experience

Preferred qualifications and experience:

Bachelor’s Degree, or higher education

Experience working with associations and/or nonprofits, or AMCs

Proven ability to work effectively in a remote environment

Professional certification, such as a Certified Association Executive (CAE)

Job Type: Full-time Salary: $25 – $29/hour, depending on experience, education, and skills.
