Job Summary
Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Commercial Lines Account Manager
to manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, build strong client relationships, and ensure optimal customer service. This role requires a proactive problem‑solver with excellent organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding client experiences. Responsibilities
Manage and nurture a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, ensuring all needs are met promptly and professionally. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing ongoing policy support. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurance carriers, and internal stakeholders to ensure business retention and growth. Assist clients in understanding and selecting appropriate commercial insurance products and services. Prepare, review, and deliver insurance proposals, binders, and endorsements to clients. Proactively monitor policy renewals and ensure timely completion of renewal processes. Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate policy terms and conditions in alignment with client needs. Maintain accurate records of correspondence, transactions, and policy details in the company’s database. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and policy changes to provide informed recommendations to clients. Drive cross-functional collaboration with various departments to identify opportunities for enhanced client service and streamlined processes. Qualifications
Proven experience as an Account Manager in the commercial insurance industry or related field. In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and policies. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a keen ability to build long‑lasting client relationships. Strong attention to detail combined with excellent organizational and time‑management skills. Ability to analyze client needs and recommend suitable insurance solutions. Proficiency in insurance management systems and tools; experience with CRM platforms is a plus. Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license. Self‑motivated, proactive, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
