Role Description The Automotive Parts Counter Person is responsible for supporting customers and service technicians in selecting, locating, and procuring parts for vehicles. Daily tasks include assisting customers at the parts counter or over the phone, maintaining inventory systems, restocking parts, processing orders, and providing excellent customer service. The role also involves developing product knowledge and staying updated about automotive parts offerings. This is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Bronx, NY.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of automotive parts and components, including medium to heavy‑duty trucks, and experience managing inventory systems
Customer service and communication skills, including assisting customers in person, via phone, and through other communication channels
Organizational and multitasking abilities for handling parts inquiries, stocking shelves, and processing orders efficiently
Proficiency in basic computer systems and inventory management software
Previous experience in a similar role or the automotive industry is preferred
A valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record
