Job Overview
As a
Digital Print Production Operator , you will be responsible for job setup and printing using our cut‑sheet digital printers. You will be in charge of calibrating printers and color‑matching projects against our client’s Pantone colors and prior jobs. You will also manage service and maintenance of the machines as needed.
This is an excellent position for someone interested in entering the industry and building a lasting career. You will also be trained to assist our large‑format department in printing, production, and installation projects. Primary examples of projects that need assistance are vehicle graphics and wall mural projects that require a second installer. The primary responsibility of the Digital Print Production Operator is to operate and complete all digital printing (B&W/Color) production for maximum production efficiency.

8‑hour shift – Monday to Friday
Digital Print Production Operator Responsibilities
Operate digital commercial printers using Fiery Command Workstation.
Assist in our large format department with installations and production work when available.
Impose files for print and run USPS mail software.
Work with the Production Scheduler to prioritize and manage daily job production.
Produce orders accurately, efficiently, and quickly while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Update job status and location in the MIS system.
Run a proof copy and compare it to the work order.
Control waste and redos by quality‑checking jobs as they are produced.
Complete Quality Assurance documents for all printed jobs.
Track waste, spoilage, usage, and inventory for all digital printing machines.
Maintain all digital printing equipment logs.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Perform all required maintenance and learn extended maintenance from the technician.
Ensure that all service "clicks" are credited by the service technician in each call, including credit for poor‑quality copies.
Calibrate and manage all color devices as required to maintain color consistency.
Monitor color consistency during all print runs and make adjustments as necessary.
Other duties as assigned.
Digital Print Production Operator Qualifications
Digital printing experience preferred.
Ability to organize several activities and tasks concurrently.
Ability to work flexible hours and overtime if needed.
Ability to maximize profit through the efficient use of time and equipment.
Can perform basic bindery functions.
Familiarity and comfort with Fiery Print Controller is a plus.
Proficiency with Command Workstation (if applicable) to control digital workflow.
Graphic design skills are a plus but not necessary.
Customer service experience is a plus but not necessary.
