Are you passionate about optimizing financial performance through strategic tax management? Kittle Property Group is seeking an experienced Property Tax Manager to join our dynamic Portfolio Management team. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in maximizing individual asset and portfolio NOI and cash flow through effective property tax management across our apartment and self-storage properties.

Key Responsibilities
Review and manage personal and real property taxes for accuracy and potential over-assessments, handling appeals as necessary.
Ensure timely, accurate filing of returns and appeals, and coordinate with outside consultants and legal counsel.
Negotiate settlements with assessors and maintain compliance with state and local tax regulations.
Monitor assessment notices, tax bill accuracy, and maintain comprehensive tax databases and compliance calendars.
Prepare detailed reports on tax appeal savings and ROI on consulting costs, and forecast future tax liabilities.
Collaborate with multiple departments including Ownership, Legal, Accounting, Finance, and Development to ensure seamless tax management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in property tax management.
Level Two or Level Three Certified Indiana Assessor/Appraiser licensee.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a keen eye for detail and a knack for problem-solving.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with valuation methodologies.
