a passionate Documentation Specialist. This position reports to the Engineering Documentation Manager and will work in Pompano Beach, FL. As Documentation Specialist of the Pompano Beach, FL team, you will manage and complete the necessary functions of keeping engineering Bill of Materials (BOM), Bill of Operations (BOO), part numbers, and part and labor costs for new and existing products up to date. Take lead on individual or multiple product lines for all documentation processes and procedures. General Responsibilities: Demonstrate complete and full understanding of ERP system software Provide expertise in managing individual or multiple production lines for all documentation processes. Lead and assign part numbers for purchased components, manufactured assemblies, drawings, and units for assigned product lines. Lead and administer the NPR and PSR processes for assigned product lines. Lead and administer the ECN, RCR, and DCR processes by which all appropriate associates are formally informed and sign off any changes for all assigned product lines. Lead and accurately complete BOM and BOO for all assigned product lines. Lead and assign labor and production costs associated with assigned product lines. Demonstrates basic understanding of engineering fundamentals for assigned product lines. Maintain and update historical documentation for NPR's, ECN's, PSR's, and product information for all assigned product lines. Calculate, maintain, and update unit electrical data plate information Provide answers to questions concerning individual or multiple product lines for the entire organization. Provide assistance and back up for other products and product lines as required. Work to all current ISO processes and procedures Maintains and provides recommendation improvements to the ISO processes Performs other duties as assigned What do we offer? Engineering background, equivalent college degree, or equivalent work experience A comprehensive working knowledge of computers and ERP software typically used in manufacturing. To be successful in this role, we believe that you possess the following skills, competencies & characteristics: Demonstrate HVAC knowledge and experience Excellent documentation skills Exceptional computer and analytical problem-solving skills Must be knowledgeable with time studies Excellent communication skills Complete ERP system understanding Must be self-directed and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a sense of urgency. Demonstrate understanding of prepared layouts, assembly drawings, and 3D design.
