About this Role The Vice President, Impact Investing will be responsible for conducting comprehensive analysis and developing strategic recommendations for investment opportunities. This role involves analyzing companies and sectors, understanding critical value creation levers, and modeling potential outcomes. The position also includes performing due diligence for impact evaluation alongside financial diligence, with the goal of maximizing investment impacts. Reporting tasks involve managing and monitoring current portfolio investments and preparing detailed progress reports on portfolio performance. Additionally, this role involves collaboration and mentorship, working closely with junior team members to provide training and guidance at the transaction level.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive analysis of co‑investment opportunities.
Analyze companies and sectors to understand value creation levers.
Develop recommendations on fund investment opportunities.
Evaluate past performance and conduct reference checks.
Manage impact evaluation in parallel with financial diligence.
Monitor current portfolio investments and prepare progress reports.
Collaborate with junior team members, providing training and guidance.
Requirements
An MBA, CFA, or equivalent background.
Strong academic record from a competitive institution.
5+ years of relevant work experience (Investment Banking, Private Equity, etc.).
Analytical and critical thinking skills with a focus on impact investing.
Excellent interpersonal and team skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and time‑sensitive deliverables.
Passion for investing and understanding the private equity industry.
