
Director - Perioperative Services

F.F. Thompson Hospital is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Perioperative Services to lead our designated perioperative areas. This pivotal role involves comprehensive 24‑hour clinical, financial, and personnel management, ensuring alignment with hospital and system goals.
The ideal candidate will be a professionally mature and creative leader with strong operating room expertise and a proven track record in managing daily operations, budgets, and personnel. You will be responsible for coordinating clinical and administrative functions, driving strategic imperatives, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This role demands excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a commitment to fostering interdisciplinary collaboration to achieve exceptional customer service and clinical quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities Include:
Overseeing daily operations and achieving nursing objectives
Managing fiscal performance and implementing quality improvement programs
Leading and mentoring a diverse team, fostering professional growth
Contributing to strategic planning and ensuring regulatory compliance
Qualifications/Experience:
New York State RN license
Current BLS certification
Certification in a relevant clinical specialty or nursing administration within one year of appointment
Clinical experience in perioperative services
Minimum of five years of progressive healthcare management experience
Education:
Graduate of an approved school of nursing
BSN- required
Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Leadership (or related) or willingness to complete within 3 years.

Salary Range: $130,000 - 157,000
