We are seeking a strategic and driven
Associate Director – Commercial Analytics
to join our growing team. This position is within ANI's Rare Disease business, which commercializes Cortrophin Gel, a specialty pharmaceutical product used to treat patients with a variety of auto‑immune and other conditions including multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, acute gouty arthritis, and nephrotic syndrome, as well as Iluvien, an implantable ophthalmic device for the treatment of Diabetic Macular Edema and Non‑Infectious Uveitis affecting the Posterior Segment. This role will leverage patient, prescriber, pharmacy and distributor data to assess commercial performance, inform strategy, and guide business decisions. Additionally, the role is responsible for daily management and continual improvement of the rare disease organization’s field and management reporting systems (Veeva MyInsights and Nitro Explorer) and working with our outsourced Veeva support team to manage the back‑end Nitro data lake. This person is a core member of the Strategic Growth and Analytics team, taking a leadership role on the team, driving excellence in execution in a fast paced, ever‑changing environment.
Responsibilities
Analyze and interpret patient, prescriber, pharmacy, and distributor data to evaluate commercial performance across the Rare Disease portfolio, including Cortrophin Gel and Iluvien.
Develop and deliver actionable insights to support strategic planning and data‑driven decision‑making for commercial leadership and cross‑functional teams.
Partner with internal stakeholders to assess market dynamics and inform key business initiatives across sales, marketing, patient support and access functions.
Manage and optimize field and management reporting tools (Veeva MyInsights and Nitro Explorer) to ensure accurate, timely, and user‑friendly reporting.
Collaborate with outsourced Veeva support teams to maintain and enhance the Nitro data lake, ensuring data integrity and effective system performance.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in data infrastructure, reporting automation, and analytics processes.
Translate complex datasets into clear, concise, and impactful visualizations and presentations for business stakeholders.
Support the development of KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics to track progress against strategic goals.
Ensure alignment of analytics efforts with business priorities in the Rare Disease segment.
Maintain compliance with industry standards and internal policies in all analytics and reporting activities.
Train field and HQ users on the effective use of reporting tools (e.g., Veeva MyInsights, Nitro Explorer) and support adoption through ongoing user education and materials.
Mentor junior team members, providing guidance, performance feedback, and support in their professional development and project execution.
Additional duties as assigned
Hands‑on experience with commercial pharmaceutical data, especially the management of SQL based data lakes and reporting tools
Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
Proven ability to manage complex projects with cross‑functional teams, and develop and nurture trusted relationships across a variety of stakeholders
Experience with managing junior team members, ensuring their success and expanding their capabilities, strengthening the overall team over time
Strategic thinker with a collaborative mindset and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 7+ years of work experience within a healthcare environment, ideally a commercial stage pharmaceutical company
Strong Microsoft Office knowledge with emphasis in Excel and PowerPoint
Knowledge of database infrastructure, with experience working with and writing SQL
Analytical reasoning abilities, intellectual curiosity, strong business acumen, and creativity in problem solving, leveraging strong business acumen to translate data insights into business strategies
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment while requiring minimal supervision, adapt well under pressure and effectively prioritize tasks to achieve established deadlines
Strong collaboration skills, and ability to interact effectively with/present to (verbally and in writing) all functions and levels within the organization,
Polished written communication and presentation skills, especially using data visualizations and PowerPoint to distill complex information into compelling, actionable, "so what" deliverables that inform decision making
10-20% travel required for role
This position is based in our commercial headquarters located in Princeton, NJ and will work a hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely, unless otherwise required by business priorities or travel
The base salary range for this position is $160,000 - $200,000; the exact salary depends on various factors such as experience, skills, education, location, competencies and industry‑specific knowledge. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a competitive short term and long term incentive program based on performance and company results.
