MSB is hiring an AVP, Commercial Banking Portfolio Manager to support the Central region who oversees the credit administration and risk management of a portfolio of commercial relationships. This role partners with Commercial Banking Officers, Credit Risk, Asset Management, and third parties to maintain strong credit quality, ensure regulatory compliance, support construction lending activities, and deliver an excellent customer experience.
What You’ll Do
Manage ongoing credit administration, including underwriting support, covenant and collateral monitoring, loan modifications, and portfolio reporting
Partner with relationship managers and credit teams to address emerging risks
Support customer experience through loan closings, cross-sell coordination, and participation in portfolio and pipeline meetings
Oversee construction loan administration, including disbursements, inspections, lien control, etc
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years in commercial lending and/or credit
Strong commercial credit analysis skills, including financial statement and tax return review
Experience managing commercial portfolios with covenant and collateral compliance oversight
Excellent communication, organization, and Microsoft Excel/Word skills
