POSITION SUMMARY
:
The Leasing and Investments Intern will play an active, hands‑on role in supporting daily operations across both the leasing and investments teams, working on projects, collaborating closely with team members, and contributing to key initiatives that drive our work forward.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Research and identify prospective tenants looking to lease a property.
Provide potential tenants with information highlighting the features of the trade area, market, and space in order to convince prospective tenants.
Partner with leasing and development teams to create merchandise plans.
Manage lead to lease platform including data support.
Coordinate with the leasing and investment teams special projects.
Partner with leasing to prepare for 2026 budget season by updating HVAC and option information.
Work with leasing and investments teams to understand value add uses for AI platforms and better data search functionality.
Create and manipulate financial investment analysis via MS Excel.
Coordinate assistance with any ongoing dispositions or acquisitions.
Generate and summarize market activity data from a variety of data sources.
Update portfolio summary sheets quarterly.
Provide potential tenants with information highlighting the features of the trade area, market, and space to convince prospective tenants as well as collecting Tenant application information.
Generate operational reports (e.g., lease profiles, sales, rent rolls, lease expiration reports, exclusives, and tenant types).
Gather tenant financial information to provide to asset management, tracks and organizes documentation and reviews for accuracy.
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIRED:
Currently enrolled in college, preferably pursuing a degree in finance, real estate, or a related field.
Strong analytical abilities with advanced Excel skills, including the ability to build and manipulate financial models and investment analyses.
Familiarity with AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe PDF editing tools, and social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook.
Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
Ability to build and maintain positive and effective working relationships.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Use of a computer screen for extensive periods of time.
Occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.
Extended working hours may be necessary.
May require the ability to remain in a stationary position
