
Continuous Improvement (CI) Intern

Purpose of the Job:
Assist with specific and focused continuous improvement projects and AMPS deployment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Oversee projects to help improve efficiency and reduce waste/spoilage
Create and analyze data for specific process areas
Support AMPS deployment and training
Conduct routine audits of process areas
Requirements:
Currently pursuing a Bachelors’ degree from a 4-year accredited university
3.0 GPA- highly preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Strong attention to detail
Experience conducting research
Self-starter
Excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills
Ability to work independently
Ability to follow policies and procedures

The starting hourly base rate for this role is
$21.00 and goes up to $24.00
dependent on years of service within the company. The company also offers a Success Share Bonus that is dependent on the plant? meeting certain metrics and targets. Please note that the range for the rate provided is a good faith estimate and is only applicable for roles that are based out of Illinois. The final rate will be determined after considering relevant factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, experience, and work location, where appropriate.
