
Public Relations Intern

PR Collaborative is looking for a dynamic Public Relations Intern to assist with press outreach during the DC/DOX Film Festival (June 11-14, 2026) and various campaigns throughout the summer. The Public Relations Intern will assist the team with festival press credentials, press breaks, press releases and advisories, film marketing, managing interviews and client wrap reports. During the DC/DOX festival, they will also assist with ticketing/box office, check-in, ushering, and wherever else needed.
This is a unique opportunity to learn more about film festival planning for anyone considering a career in PR, film, or event planning. We are lucky enough to work with emerging and established filmmakers as well as key independent film distributors.
The ideal candidate is creative, tireless and comfortable engaging with individuals from all backgrounds. We would like interns to be in the office 2-3 days per week during regular business hours. This is an unpaid in-office position that runs from Mid-May through early August. Intern will work 2-3 days a week (subject to change).
