Responsibilities
Quote and sell various insurance products to potential clients.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Assess clients' insurance requirements and offer suitable insurance recommendations.
Explain policy specifics, coverage limits, and exclusions clearly to clients.
Guide clients in completing insurance applications and necessary documentation.
Handle policy changes, endorsements, and claims accurately and in a timely manner.
Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and updates in insurance policies.
Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate policy terms and conditions effectively.
Qualifications
Possession of a valid Property and Casualty license in Illinois.
1–3 years of experience in insurance sales.
Demonstrated background in sales administration or retail sales.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong analytical capabilities to interpret data and make well‑informed decisions.
Compensation
Base Salary: $35,000 per year, in addition to commissions and bonuses.
Anticipated first‑year total earnings between $50,000 and $65,000, inclusive of base salary, commissions, and bonuses.
