Overview The Golf Course Maintenance Team Member is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, playability, and safety of The Highlands at Harbor Springs golf courses. This position supports daily course operations by performing grounds maintenance tasks and operating equipment to ensure exceptional course conditions for our guests.

Responsibilities

Mow greens, tees, fairways, and rough according to established standards.

Rake and maintain bunkers.

Operate golf course maintenance equipment including mowers, trimmers, blowers, utility vehicles, and other tools safely and efficiently.

Assist with irrigation system monitoring, watering, and minor repairs.

Set up and rotate tee markers, cups, and signage.

Perform landscaping tasks such as trimming, edging, planting, and debris removal.

Repair ball marks, divots, and other turf damage.

Maintain a clean and organized maintenance facility.

Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

Support special projects and tournament preparation as needed.

Qualifications

Previous groundskeeping or landscaping experience preferred but not required.

Ability to operate small machinery and hand tools (training provided).

Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays during golf season.

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Must be dependable and punctual.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Repetitive motion including lifting, pushing, and pulling equipment.
