Key Accountabilities

Represent American Water at community events and outreach programs.

Implement event planning plans based on community feedback and business needs.

Present before small and large groups within the community (schools, community organizations, etc.).

Provide photography and content related to events for customer-facing outlets (internet, social media, newsletters, etc.).

Contribute to social media content generation.

Coordinate activities for events to include working with vendors, community partners, and employees.

Identify volunteerism needs and coordinate scheduling volunteers to work various community events.

Project Planning

Experience/Education

Enrollment in a Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, undergraduate degree program, or a relevant program from an accredited school.

Minimum of 1 year of completed coursework.
