Property Manager to $75K - Lead a Growing Community!
Our client, a real estate management and investment firm, is seeking a Property Manager to oversee operations at a newly developed affordable housing community. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth lease‑up activities, maintaining full compliance with affordable housing programs, and cultivating a positive living environment for residents. The ideal candidate brings at least 3+ years of residential property management experience and familiarity with LIHTC regulations, financial oversight, and resident engagement.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily property operations and resident relations; manage lease‑up activities such as application processing, unit showings, and move‑ins; maintain accurate resident, financial, and maintenance records; enforce rent collection policies and complete deposits; prepare budgets and conduct monthly/quarterly financial variance reviews; ensure full regulatory compliance through annual recertifications, reporting, and audit participation; coordinate preventive maintenance and property inspections; supervise on‑site staff and vendor relationships; and execute marketing and occupancy strategies to support full utilization of the community.
Qualifications
3+ years of residential property management experience; familiarity with LIHTC and affordable housing compliance; strong communication and organizational skills; ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment; proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software; experience leading on‑site teams while building positive resident relationships.
