Description ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Effective communication skills : Email, phone and in-person communication. Interact with customers via phone calls, emails and face to face interactions. Clear communication is essential to understand the customer needs, address their concerns and provide accurate information.
Problem Solving and Investigation Skills : Proactive analytical approach, as this role will encounter various order processing, customer questions/issues, ranging from pricing, product, technical and credit questions. Ability to analyze the situation, gather relevant data and identify solutions to questions on your own will be crucial to the job.
Results-Oriented Performance and Follow-up : Self-starter with initiative, utilizing a solutions based approach. Performance is measured by the ability to find solutions promptly. Strive to exceed team’s and customer’s expectations.
Cooperation and Communication : Works closely and communicates with the International Team and other departments. Some of which include scheduling, credit, production, shipping, or warehouse teams. For example, liaison with the scheduling team on production scheduling, checking inventory to ensure that the team/customers have the most up to date information to prevent customer out of stocks.
Additional Responsibilities:
Stays updated on product and procedural knowledge.
Maintain accurate and up to date records of customer information, contacts, customer profile requirements.
Complies with safety and GMP requirements.
SAFETY RESPONSIBILITY STATEMENT
Supports a culture of safe production and operations; follows all safety rules and procedures. Actively participates in the safety program by: engaging in training activities to learn what constitutes a safety hazard; reporting safety concerns to the supervisor, submitting safety suggestions, and correcting or reporting to the appropriate people when an employee sees a workplace health or safety hazard, until it is resolved. Assists with communicating safety information to new employees. Fulfills responsibilities as outlined in the company safety management plan.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree and 3‑5 years of related customer service and or order processing equivalent experience. Fluency in foreign languages is desirable but not necessary.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office specifically, Excel, Outlook. Other software like Oracle or Incorta experience is desirable but not necessary.
Mathematically, have the ability to perform basic math functions of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as % increase/decrease, discounts, proportions and gross margin %.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Fluency in foreign languages is preferred.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge is required.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to perform basic math functions of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
