
Sales Account Manager

Responsibilities
Discuss project requirements with customers, qualify the project, create the quotation, and submit the quotation to the customer.
Review prior projects that have been involved with to identify potential future project influencers or decision makers that should be re‑marketed to (i.e., architecture firms, engineering firms, school districts, etc.). Add those companies and contacts to Copper CRM and accurately categorize them for marketing purposes.
Identify existing customers who have a high probability of becoming repeat customers, categorize them and work with marketing resources to start building a more in‑depth relationship.
Support the other team members by creating pricing and quotes as help is needed.
Routinely follow‑up on quoted projects, update the status of the quote and create further follow‑up tasks until the project is either won or lost.
Support the Project Management team by providing detailed upfront information on new projects, creating updated quotes as project requirements change, and providing outstanding customer service as needed.
Perform market research to identify potential customers, add them to the CRM and reach out to start building dialogue.
Answer questions about the product offerings, advantages, and guide our customers to the correct product for the application needed.
Perform outbound sales calls to generate quote opportunities.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree or comparable record of sales experience
Minimum 2 years sales experience preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organization skills and attention to detail
Positive attitude and ability to be a team player
Works comfortably under pressure and meets tight deadlines
Comfortable negotiating with customers
Knowledge or background in the construction industry preferred
