
Sales Intern - Milwaukee, WI

The good2grow intern program is designed to develop and teach students basic sales and operations functions within in the food/beverage/DSD industry. This role will be responsible for in store merchandising, selling, and communication within the grocery and convenience markets in a given geographical area.
Candidate must live in or around Milwaukee to be considered for this position.
Core Functions/Duties
Sell, merchandise, and display good2grow products within the grocery and convenience channels.
Merchandising existing products on the shelves of grocery and convenience stores
Sell in new products and displays to both existing accounts as well as new ones
Participates in distributor ride a longs, crew drives, etc.
Provides clear and concise follow up notes after ride a longs and store visits
Uses VIP Karma app to track, audit, follow up, and execute store visits
Gains exposure to day to day business operations with a CPG sales organization.
Will be allowed to observe weekly month sales meetings from time to time
Will be allowed to accompany Regional Sales Managers in key distributor and customer meetings from time to time
Will be allowed to participate in Company wide town halls
Completes all administrative duties required on office days in a timely manner.
Submits weekly recaps to manager
Completes and submits time sheets every Friday
Required Education/Experience
Attending a 2 or 4 year college academic institution
High level of organization and enthusiasm, required
Efficient in Microsoft Office
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
