Essential Duties and Responsibilities We areseekinga detail-oriented and proactiveCo-Op intern to join the Continuous ImprovementTeam this summer and fall.The ideal candidate will gain hands-on experiencewhile supporting process improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment. The intern will be assigned to specific production process and will deliver data-driven process improvement recommendations through direct observation, analysis, and collaboration with operations teams.
This structured 6-month program provides practical exposure to manufacturing operations, continuous improvement methodologies, and cross-functional teamwork. High-performing co-op interns may be considered for full-time employment opportunities upon successful completion of the program.
Observe assigned manufacturing process(es) to understand workflows, constraints, and performance drivers.
Collect and analyze operational data related to efficiency, quality, downtime, or waste.
Identify improvement opportunities and support root cause analysis activities.
Partner with operators, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to understand current practices.
Develop and present process improvement recommendations supported by data.
Assist with implementation or validation of approved improvements where applicable.
Document process maps, standard work, or project findings.

Education
Attendinga four-year college or university toattaina degree inManufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field;or already awardedbachelor’sdegree from a four-year college or university.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; data analysis skills preferred.
