What You’ll Do The Account Specialist is an integral part of our customer support team, working directly with our clients. This role works in coordination with the relationship management team to ensure high client retention and satisfaction. Account Specialists assist with day-to-day client interactions that support both the client and the relationship managers.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (we love a good brainstorm).
Deliver stellar phone and email support for all Consumer Driver Healthcare (CDH) clients
Responsible for timely and effective client support, problem resolution and proactive follow‑up, in line with ThrivePass SLAs
Be able to provide backup support to our member services team during high volume by answering overflow calls, working support tickets, or processing claims
Assist the Relationship Management team with the renewal process and other duties as required
Maintain and audit administration system settings to ensure appropriate plan administration in accordance with plan documents
Assist clients with reporting, audit, and system training as necessary
Handle all end of month processing in a timely and efficient manner
Responsible for manual imports and file uploads
Assist with client and participant training opportunities
Provide on‑going assistance to team members in relation to CDH clients

Must Haves
1-3 years’ experience as a claims administrator, customer service, phone support or similar field
Experience working with Alegeus
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures with medical, FSA, HSA and COBRA as well as HIPAA
Demonstrated understanding of how to deliver high-quality customer service.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to understand how to utilize technology
Ability to identify and provide solutions for client needs
Quick learner and detailed oriented
Strong communication skills, complemented by both excellent verbal and written communication
Customer‑centric with a strong desire to help people; highly empathetic
Positive attitude
Takes initiative to uncover/develop solutions prior to escalating issues
Ability to take on new projects and easily transition between tasks
Team player who is receptive to coaching and adaptive to change
Desire to excel and grow each day
Experience working in a remote environment
