We are seeking a

Nuclear Procedure Writer II

to support nuclear modification projects at a commercial nuclear generating station. This role is responsible for developing, revising, and maintaining technical procedures supporting plant modifications, new equipment installation, testing, and occasional operational implementation. This position supports Nuclear Projects and works closely with site procedure leadership to ensure compliance, safety, and regulatory alignment. Most modifications are Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) focused, though mechanical knowledge is also valuable. Pay: $60.00- $63.00 per hour DOE Key Responsibilities

Develop, revise, and maintain technical procedures for nuclear modification projects Support new equipment installation, testing, and maintenance procedure development Review and prioritize procedure changes to ensure regulatory compliance Ensure adherence to nuclear safety standards and regulatory commitments Coordinate with Nuclear Projects, Engineering, and Site Procedures teams Maintain required qualifications and training Required Qualifications

Experience writing or revising technical procedures in a nuclear environment Knowledge of nuclear modification processes Understanding of regulatory compliance and nuclear safety standards Strong technical writing and document control skills Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering and operations teams Preferred Qualifications

Experience in nuclear modification planning Strong background in Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) systems Familiarity with mechanical systems in a nuclear plant Experience supporting procedure backlog management and prioritization
