Company Overview Cook's Direct is a leading distributor of commercial kitchen equipment and supplies for large-volume foodservice operations. We partner with foodservice professionals across industries, providing expert guidance, innovative solutions, and quality products backed by strong customer service and industry expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Engage in a minimum of 30 outbound calls per day to existing and prospective customers.

Build lasting relationships that drive loyalty, satisfaction, and revenue growth.

Use a consultative sales approach to identify needs, recommend solutions, and close deals.

Achieve and exceed sales and gross profit targets within the assigned territory.

Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and manufacturers to deliver customer‑centric solutions.

Stay informed on industry trends, competitive products, and emerging customer needs.

Handle product, pricing, availability, and service inquiries with urgency and professionalism.

Maintain accurate CRM records of customer activity, pipeline updates, and interactions daily.

Draft tailored proposals and quotes that help accelerate the sales cycle.

Participate in sales meetings, training, trade shows, and industry events as needed.

Demonstrate a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Required Qualifications

Experience in inside sales, telesales, or a related customer‑facing role

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong negotiation and closing abilities

Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Ability to prioritize in a fast‑paced environment

Strong work ethic and team‑oriented mindset

Preferred Qualifications

Foodservice equipment and supplies industry experience

Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot

College degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field
