Nature of Work The goal of this program is to teach students or recent grads how to activate and maintain successful partnerships with corporate sponsors of Ball Arena, Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, and Colorado Mammoth. This will be done through assisting in research, in‑market and in‑game promotions, special events, game day operations and outstanding client relationships. Interns will be part‑time employees, scheduled for a maximum of 29 hours per week.
Examples of Work Performed
Assist in planning, setting up & executing partnership events and activations
Executes game day responsibilities as assigned on the game day checklist
Help execute partner activations and ensure proof of performance on game and event nights
Meet or shadow with other departments of KSE (Game Operations, Marketing, Ticket Sales, Event Management, Community Relations, Box Office, IT or Human Resources)
Assist the Activation Team in creating mid‑season and end of season recaps and reports for clients
Assists in researching prospective sponsorship clients and building sponsorship proposals
Assists in tracking sponsored elements on social media and broadcast

Qualifications
Students in established major going into 3rd or 4th year of college education, grad student or recently graduated, required.
Ability to acquire or produce and maintain a valid driver’s license and meet company vehicle driving standards.
Performance Requirements/Skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and multi‑tasking skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Outlook
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with multiple departments
Able to work all assigned office hours and game nights from September through January
Internship Requirements
All Colorado Interns are required to attend all KSE Internship Program hosted events that occur during business hours. If unable to attend due to work, school or unforeseen circumstance, the Intern must inform the Internship Program Committee.
All Interns are required to participate in the KSE Mentorship Program by meeting with assigned Mentor in person or virtually at least for the initial meet‑up.
Compensation
Base Salary: $19.29 /hr.
Maximum of 29 hours per week
