Must-Have Requirements
3–5+ years of experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or supply chain management
Proven sales and negotiation skills with the ability to close profitable deals
Experience managing accounts, shipments, or operational processes
Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
Authorization to work in the United States
Preferred
Familiarity with carriers, shipping lines, airlines, ports, and customs processes
Experience leading teams or managing operational budgets
Established network of clients or logistics partners
Highly motivated, proactive, and results-oriented
Key Responsibilities Business Development & Sales
Develop new accounts and expand existing business
Create customized proposals and pricing strategies to win freight opportunities
Negotiate rates and terms to close profitable deals
Monitor market trends, spot rates, and competitor activity
Provide sales reports, pipeline updates, and revenue forecasts
Visit customers, vendors, or ports as needed
Customer Service & Troubleshooting
Manage and resolve shipment issues, delays, claims, and damaged items
Maintain accurate records in company databases
Oversee accounts receivable/payable and follow up on overdue invoices
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
Operations & Strategic Support
Implement and review operational policies and procedures
Manage departmental budgets and optimize costs
Track and report on sales activities, operational performance, and expenditures
Support the growth and development of freight brokerage operations and teams
