
Sales Representative- OEM Industrial, Power Systems

Job Overview
730 am – 500 pm Monday–Friday, other hours and weekends as needed
Responsibilities and Qualifications
Develop and grow new and existing customer relationships within your sales territory
Identify opportunities, evaluate customer needs, and recommend appropriate engine and power solutions
Plan and execute a strategic sales approach aligned with long‑term business objectives
Deliver effective sales presentations and close business to meet or exceed annual sales goals
Manage accounts, opportunities, and pipeline activity using CRM tools
Coordinate proposals, custom engine configurations, and deliveries with internal teams
Stay current on product offerings, factory lead times, pricing, and marketing programs
Maintain a high level of professionalism through ongoing training and industry involvement
Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
Prior sales experience, ideally in a technical or industrial environment
Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
Ability to understand and explain technical products, applications, and financing programs
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Self‑motivated, organized, and comfortable managing a fast‑paced, independent territory
Must possess a valid driver’s license with clean driving record (no more than 2 minor violations within the past 3 years and no major violations within the past 5 years). A motor vehicle report will be performed on the final candidate
Compensation Payrate $50,000 – $150,000 annually. This position includes a base salary and will earn commissions.

Job Conditions This is an
outside sales role
with daily driving and frequent customer visits, and occasional overnight travel (approximately 3–4 nights per month). You’ll also spend time in the office building proposals, coordinating builds, and overseeing deliveries. Some physical activity and the use of standard safety equipment are required.
This position works in an office environment and involves traveling to meet customers. You may sit at a desk, answer telephone calls, and use a keyboard to communicate. Traveling is required to visit current and new customers. You may walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs. Demonstration of equipment may be needed. Noise level in an office environment is usually moderate to low, and at the customer’s site may be moderate to high. You may be required to wear appropriate safety equipment (e.g., safety glasses or side shields, steel-toe boots, hard hat) when needed.
