The Lead Carpenter will be responsible for managing carpentry projects, performing framing, finish carpentry, and general construction tasks. The role requires the ability to safely operate power and hand tools, oversee project timelines, and adhere to quality standards. Collaboration with the construction team and maintaining effective communication with clients will also be key responsibilities.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Carpentry and Finish Carpentry techniques
Experience with Framing and structural builds
Strong skills in the use of Power Tools and Hand Tools
Ability to lead projects, meet deadlines, and ensure adherence to standards
Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
Understanding of construction safety protocols and procedures
Previous supervisory or leadership experience in carpentry is a plus
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification is desirable
