Job Summary Consumer Cellular is adding to our team of incredible relationship builders, conversation havers, and wireless technology lovers. A key member of our team is the Retail Wireless Sales Specialist, who works directly with customers, listening to their needs and ensuring we provide a product-based solution. Our Retail Wireless Sales Specialists are motivated by delivering a world-class experience, where customers leave with a smile on their face and a working phone in hand.
Compensation
Base pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour plus uncapped commission.
Employment type: modified full-time (30 to 39 hours per week). Most employees work approximately 35 hours per week.
What You Do In This Role
Brand Ambassador – Ensure the store is comfortable, welcoming, and always open for our guests. Bring your authentic self to work each day, reflecting our core value that happy employees make happy customers.
Relationship Builder – Build relationships with guests, team members, and field leadership. Be an active listener, a solution finder, and a conversation initiator.
Product and Services Enthusiast – Receive training on our products and services, translating technology into real‑world conversations. Attend meetings and training sessions to stay knowledgeable.
Account Management – Set and be available for guest appointments. Investigate and solve guest account issues, determine the best plans and offers, and document all relevant notes and details.
What You Need To Win In This Role
Education and Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Positive attitude and ability to make the customer feel like the priority.
At least 6 months of customer service experience in a retail setting. Bonus if you have worked in the wireless industry.
Experience operating a POS system and ensuring accurate transactions.
Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Schedule and Attendance:
Flexibility, including weekends.
Store open six to seven days a week, hours ranging from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm most days.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform tasks that involve prolonged bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, walking, standing, and moving items—standing for 6–8 hours.
Move around the store, assist customers, and maneuver merchandise as needed.
Perform regular store cleaning, including display cases, shelves, and overall safety.

Pay & Benefits Data (in accordance with the Equal Pay and Opportunities Act)
Minimum Base Salary: $36,750
Maximum Base Salary: $46,200
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary by location.
