JOB LOCATION:
Detroit, Cleveland or U.S. based remote
TRAVEL:
This position requires 50% travel to customer sites throughout North America.
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Position assists the sales team through strategic pre-sales, functional assessment, and technical scoping activities in order to achieve department sales targets. Responsible for understanding the client’s business challenges and technology environment to guide provision of the best possible solution to both business and technical audiences.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Ability to independently conduct discovery of client business requirements (functional and technical needs) and apply relevant technology to address these.
Through understanding of customer’s requirements, match technology and professional services capabilities to develop an approach that can be translated into a proposal and statement of work and assist Account Executives in convincing clients to select this.
Review and actively participate in RFP technical reviews, assist with developing written responses, demonstrate OnBase and other technologies to underscore solution viability and fit, assist PS team with understanding of solution and any risks identified with potential project.
Proficiency in product demonstrations and orchestrating technical Q&A sessions.
Assist in scoping and driving Pilot and Proof of Concept environments when required for customer evaluations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE)
Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent work experience of 3-5 years’ experience as Software Solutions Consultant.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) industry, to include document imaging, document management, content management, advanced capture and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technologies.
Experience understanding Government Agencies or Private Sector core business process and back-office functional processes, is a plus.
