The Personal Lines Inside Sales Representative is responsible for converting inbound personal lines leads into bound policies while delivering an exceptional client experience. This role emphasizes quick response, needs-based selling, and cross‑selling to provide comprehensive protection to clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Respond promptly to inbound calls, emails, and web leads
Conduct coverage reviews and present tailored insurance solutions
Quote and bind new personal lines business through preferred carriers
Cross‑sell additional products (umbrella, auto, home, valuables, etc.)
Follow up on open quotes with urgency to improve close ratios
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Applied Epic
Collaborate with service staff for seamless onboarding of new clients
Consistently meet monthly sales, close rate, and cross‑sell goals
QUALIFICATIONS
1‑2 years’ experience in Personal Insurance sales or customer service
Active Massachusetts P&C License or ability to obtain within 90 days
Comprehensive knowledge of personal lines insurance products and carriers
Strong phone presence, experience in high‑volume inbound sales environment preferred
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Applied EPIC and comparative raters preferred

WORK ENVIRONMENT This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, tablets, phones, multi‑function printers, and fax machines.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and/or listen; frequently stand; walk; sit for extended periods of time; frequently use hands/fingers to handle/feel when operating a computer and other office equipment; reach with hands and arms.
