The beautiful Hilton Minneapolis is seeking a Catering Sales Manager to join its dynamic team! This is an exciting opportunity to work at one of the only Hilton‑managed corporate properties in Minnesota.

In this role, the Catering Sales Manager will be responsible for booking, planning, and servicing small to mid‑size social and corporate events.

What will I be doing? As Catering Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the development of market segment(s) including solicitation of new customer relationships, negotiation of business through proposals and contracts to close business, and creative design of menus and events to maximize revenue and event experience. You will maintain existing relationships with corporate and social accounts, foster all internal customer relationships, and serve as the primary contact throughout pre‑event, event, and post‑event phases.

Specifically, your essential functions will be to perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

Organize, plan and prioritize duties by developing plans and goals.

Communicate timely to internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents, or in person.

Create and maintain relationships with clients to set and meet expectations.

Demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, systems, and processes.

Resolve conflicts and negotiate while handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances.

Sell and influence both internal and external clients.

Make decisions and solve problems by analyzing and evaluating issues to determine the best solution.

Ensure high quality service by communicating and assisting others to understand guest needs, providing direction, guidance, feedback, and coaching.

Participate in customer site inspections and assist with the sales process as necessary.

Perform other duties as necessary based on business needs.

What are we looking for? Minimum Years of Experience: 1+ years of hospitality related experience.

Catering Sales experience.

Hotel industry experience.

Knowledge of the hotel property management systems (Delphi.fdc).

Starting hourly rate $26‑$27 per hour based on experience plus opportunity for quarterly incentive.
