
Account Service Manager - Personal Lines

Description
We are an independent insurance agency seeking an Insurance Processor to be responsible for processing accurate, professional insurance forms & documents and to provide support to other staff members. This position is expected to work hand in hand with the Account Managers, but also to work independently at times and be problem solvers.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Greet and welcome guests upon arrival
Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls
Receive, sort and distribute mail
Assist all walk-in clients with payments and billing questions
Coordinate all on-demand and renewal cert issuance
Complete change request ordering from carrier
Process audits that are not premium bearing or do not have a large increase (send other audits to AM/Producer)
Send all policies to be checked by third party vendor
Check endorsements from carrier for accuracy
Process cancellations (DB non pay, LPR’s received from AM, and sending non renewals to AM/Producer)
Handle escalating premium bearing change requests and audits to AM
Complete MVR requests for underwriting only
Order loss runs when requested
Perform other related duties and tasks as necessary or as assigned
Requirements
Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
Active Property and Casualty Insurance License a plus.
Personal Lines Insurance experience a plus.
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Self-motivated and able to handle multiple tasks with minimal guidance in order to meet deadlines.
Good oral and written communication skills to articulate key information.
Initiative and willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
High emphasis on teamwork, collaboration, data analysis, and process innovation.
Self-starter and work with direction and taking ownership of areas of responsibility.
Detail-oriented.
Candidate will also be required to obtain their P&C insurance license within the first 90 days of employment.
