Position Objectives Understand how to create long‑term trusting relationships with customers and deliver unique programs that fit each retailer’s needs. The Sales Intern will also be trained to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients, and actively seek new sales opportunities and team growth.

Responsibilities Sales Intern responsibilities include working with the sales team to learn how to develop strong relationships and connect with retail and wholesale customers, discover their needs, find solutions, prepare sales presentations, and close deals. The Sales Intern will also learn how to answer client inquiries, work with them on custom solutions, and identify new business opportunities among existing and new customers.

Gain industry and organizational knowledge through daily business interactions and job assignments.

Provide administrative support (e.g., scheduling meetings, replying to emails, maintaining electronic filing systems, etc.).

Proficient in drafting, proofreading, data entry and editing client correspondence, internal and external memos, reports, tables, and other business documents.

Responsible for handling time‑sensitive material.

Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner while meeting quality standards.

Work collaboratively with all team members to deliver high‑quality work product.

Communicate and coordinate with internal departments.

Perform routine tasks within established procedures.

Qualifications

High school diploma required. In pursuit of a college degree preferable.

At least 18 years of age.

Internships are intended to be positions that are for a limited duration, with a maximum duration of ten months.

Strong desire to gain further understanding of the business.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal).

Ability to work on a team.

Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret.
