Your impact Are you a recognized sales leader with the knowledge and understanding of our water and wastewater infrastructure markets and our market leading digital solutions? Your record of major sales wins and passion for driving high-impact and sustainable growth will be instrumental to the Sales Lead, Digital One Water role in our Water portfolio. Our team specializes in advising, developing and deploying industry leading digital solutions that design and optimize our client's critical assets as well as strengthening predictive capabilities within their operations and maintenance organizations.

Digital One Water Digital One Water (Jacobs brand for water and wastewater digital solutions) is one of four core capability areas within the Jacobs Digital & Data Business Unit and a key growth area for our business.

There are 4 main areas of this role that will generate success.

You will interface directly with clients to communicate substantive digital service offerings and take opportunity pursuits from inception through to award;

You will work with other Digital & Data colleagues who provide adjacent and complementary services in areas such as Operational Technology, Cybersecurity and Information Management to develop and execute client account strategies;

You will work with Jacobs water leaders across Americas geography to understand their market specific needs and develop sales strategies to deliver integrated digital solutions to support and enhance our water infrastructure design business;

You will work with the Digital One Water leadership team to catalogue and crystallize its offerings for public marketing and novel sales solutions that differentiate Jacobs digital water practice in the market.

Responsibilities

Development of ambitious pipeline targets that drive continuous bid and win cycles and deliver the new business plan objectives for FY26;

Deliver contract award targets consistent with new business plan objectives for FY26;

Manage all major digital water opportunities in Americas geography concurrently taking them from opportunity inception to close;

Development of Digital One Water value propositions that leverage past performance, key personnel, and portfolio capabilities to drive major new growth opportunities;

Work with Jacobs proposal teams to architect winning proposals with strong value propositions, feasible pricing, and past performance;

Attend conferences and internal Jacobs events in order to identify major sales opportunities and build client relationships;

Work with business unit and market leadership teams within Jacobs to understand applicable sales channels and ways to deliver integrated sales;

Market research on external water solutions market sectors and areas of opportunity and develop strategic plans for pursuit;

Work with strategic technology partners to identify novel sales opportunities using partner technology and Jacobs sales channel.

Here's what you'll need

Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of relevant sales experience required;

Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to identify and win high impact new business opportunities as an individual contributor;

Understanding of pipeline management and CRM system with ability to develop sufficient pipeline to meet full year new business targets;

Demonstrated track record of contract award wins in water market;

Experience in sales strategy creation and implementation;

Relationships focused, resilient and adaptable with egoless desire to partner with other business units and find win-win solutions that involve extensive collaboration;

Strong public speaking skills with ability to effectively convey value propositions to clients and in public settings such as conferences;

Willingness to travel to customer sites when required;

Working knowledge of industrial process engineering strongly preferred;

Strong technical understanding of water market dynamics with the ability to take complex Jacobs digital water capabilities and apply them to client challenges.

Additional Skills/Capabilities Desired

Strong understanding of CRM/SalesForce;

Strong sales lifecycle process experience (capture/solution architecture/proposals);

Hands on experience with water/wastewater infrastructure;

General understanding of Jacobs digital capabilities and market offerings;

Network of existing water client contacts and/or membership in water industry professional organizations.

Salary The base salary range for this position is $140,000.00 to $180,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
