Our internship program meets the needs of today while preparing students for the workforce of the future. The goal of the program is to show talented, motivated and intelligent college students what it is like to work in our business. We want to learn just as much from them as they want to learn from us, by gaining new ideas and hearing their thoughts about what their generation looks for in the work force. Our program will develop and prepare students to join the “real world” and apply what they learned in school.

This will be a

paid internship

consisting of 20-29 hours worked per week paid on an hourly basis. Need class credit? We can work with you and get any paperwork submitted for you.

A Jordan Ford intern will take a deep dive into our company culture, learn how departments work independently and together, develop business skills, meet trusted vendors, and learn how crucial it is to have industry leading customer service.

Job Description

Become sales certified in the Ford system

Learn our customer relationship management tools

Shadow high performing sales professionals, hands‑on experience assisting customers

Communicate with customers via phone/email, and assess their vehicle needs

Find potential customers on social media, public forums, etc

Set customer appointments

Work with marketing department gaining knowledge of several forms of advertising and the benefits

Learn and assist in conquest strategies, inventory levels and pricing to market

Be involved in monthly wholesale inventory meetings with Ford representatives

Spend time at all sales locations- Jordan Ford, Jordan Motorcars, Jordan Motorcars San Marcos

Become proficient in appraisal tools like KBB

Work with reconditioning and appraisal managers, to include evaluating trade‑ins and attend an auction

Perform several focus groups with sold and unsold customers (subjects to be determined)

Dedicated summer project and present results/findings

Exposure to
