We are seeking a

results-driven Account Executive

to grow sales of custom

thermoformed packaging and components

into major retail channels. This role is responsible for developing new business with retailers, private‑label brands, and consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies while managing existing customer relationships.

The ideal candidate has experience selling

thermoforming, plastic packaging, or custom manufacturing solutions .

This is a highly consultative sales role that requires identifying packaging challenges, collaborating with engineering teams, and delivering thermoformed solutions that improve product protection, presentation, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities Business Development

Identify and pursue new opportunities with

retailers, consumer brands, and private label manufacturers .

Sell

custom thermoformed packaging solutions

including blisters, clamshells, trays, inserts, and retail display packaging.

Develop strategic relationships with

procurement, packaging engineers, product managers, and merchandising teams .

Generate new revenue through prospecting, networking, and industry events.

Account Management

Manage and grow existing customer accounts while identifying additional programs and product opportunities.

Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, pricing discussions, and project coordination.

Work closely with internal engineering, design, and production teams to deliver custom packaging solutions.

Sales Strategy

Build and maintain a robust

sales pipeline and forecast .

Develop pricing strategies aligned with material costs, tooling requirements, and production capabilities.

Lead contract negotiations and long‑term supply agreements.

Market & Product Expertise

Provide insight into

retail packaging trends, sustainability initiatives, and thermoforming capabilities .

Understand materials including

PET, RPET, PVC, HIPS, and biodegradable plastics .

Educate customers on design‑for‑manufacturing and packaging optimization.

Qualifications Required

5+ years of

B2B sales experience in thermoforming, plastic packaging, or custom manufacturing

Proven success selling into

retail, consumer goods, or private label brands

Strong knowledge of

thermoformed packaging applications

Experience managing long sales cycles and large accounts

Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills

Preferred

Experience selling

retail packaging such as clamshells, blister packs, trays, or displays

Background working with

big‑box retailers or national consumer brands

Familiarity with

tooling, prototyping, and packaging design processes
