Work Schedule:
15–25 hours per week (flexible based on academic commitments). Interns will work in a hybrid format with regular in-office collaboration
Compensation:
$35–$45 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications

Executive Vice President, Strategy, VICE Media and the Strategy and Distribution Advisor, VICE Media

Position Summary VICE is seeking a highly motivated
MBA Intern
to support the VICE Ventures team. This strategy-focused, analytical, and execution-oriented role will help shape frameworks for new revenue opportunities and support business development initiatives across key verticals.
You will work closely with and for senior leadership and cross-functional partners, including strategy, finance, legal, and content teams. This role offers exposure to real strategic decision-making and partnership modeling. You will own a defined strategic project aligned with one of VICE Ventures’ priority growth areas (licensing, commerce, experiential, or partner-led brand extensions), developing analytical frameworks, conducting research, modeling, and synthesizing recommendations. At the conclusion of the internship, you will present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities Market and Category Analysis
Conduct market sizing (TAM/SAM/SOM) for prioritized verticals (apparel, curated commerce, live events)
Analyze trends, competitive landscapes, industry adjacencies, and whitespace opportunities
Prepare concise, insightful summaries and recommendations
Benchmarking and Comps
Identify and benchmark precedent models (licensing/brand extension players like Authentic Brands Group, cultural commerce platforms, experiential networks)
Analyze what has worked, what failed, and why
Partner Mapping and Business Development Support
Build structured lists of prospective partners by vertical and rationale for fit
Support outreach planning and prioritization
Economics and Deal Modeling
Assist in building simple, credible financial models for opportunity evaluation
Illustrate revenue and margin implications of various partnership structures
Strategic Narrative and Presentation Development
Develop slides, tables, and visual summaries for internal strategy sessions
Support creation of decks and memos for leadership and board-level discussions
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with strategy, legal, finance, and content teams
Participate in working sessions, brainstorming, and planning meetings
Document lessons learned from pilots, evaluations, and tests
Qualifications Required:
Current MBA candidate (preference for strategy-focused programs)
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
Advanced proficiency with slide creation (PowerPoint/Keynote)
Preferred:
Consulting, corporate strategy, or business development experience
Exposure to consumer brands, licensing, experiential commerce, or media strategy
Understanding of financial modeling, market sizing, and competitive analysis
